A piece of wood with nails found on the grass verge at Preston Under Scar.

Hello,

I hope you are all well.  We have been made aware of a piece of wood being found at the side of the road, hidden on the grass verge. The piece of wood, shown in the attached photos has two nails sticking out of it and these were up turned.  This could have caused a serious injury to a person or animal should they have stepped on it or damage to vehicle tyres if it had been run over.  It is unknown if this has been maliciously placed there so please can you make us aware if you find any similar items in the area and get in touch if you have any knowledge of the item being there.
